Just need a bit of help. I need to have one sound on the timeline stop playing while letting the others continue. The sound is named "shark". I know how to use: flash.media.SoundMixer; SoundMixer.stopAll(); but instead of stopping all the sounds, I just want to stop the sound named 'shark'. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've been trying to convert one of TonyPa's tutorials to a 2.5D sort of perspective. I wanted to add an extra layer on top of the one loaded when entered, so I can use depth (transparency with trees to make it easier). I do not know how to come across this. Either making another array and loading it at a higher depth, or, creating an array inside the array, then trying to load it. I'm trying... Old school menu howto?
Hello, I love Nick Onkens site (http://nickonken.com)). He has a pretty basic menu which is simple but works well for him. Does anyone have a link to a tutorial for creating similar menus? I imagine the way its done is that he hides parts of the menu outside the playerarea and then he slides them in from above based on what the use clicks on.
