Bombs explode in front of Marshfield church

Two homemade bombs exploded on the grass in front Trinity Episcopal Church in Marshfield on Saturday evening. Police arrived to secure the area and determined there had been little damage. After interviewing bystanders at the scene, police said it was probably the act of Internet-educated pranksters.

TODAY'S WEATHER: Flood watch issued for Plymouth and Bristol counties

A flood watch has been issued for Plymouth and Bristol counties on Monday and a winter weather advisory for eastern Massachusetts. After a period of freezing rain at mid-morning makes driving hazardous, one-half to 1.5 inches of rain is expected, along with significant snow melt. Heavier showers and a few thunderstorms are possible late Monday, increasing the flood threat. Street flooding is likely.
