Accused killer's father undergoing psychiatric evaluation after standoff with Brockton police David Luke, the 45-year-old father of accused killer Keith Luke, is undergoing a mental health evaluation in the psychiatric unit at Brockton Hospital following a two-hour standoff with police on Sunday at his Crescent Street home. It was the second time in 15 months that David Luke was involved in a standoff with police. In December 2009, Luke held police at bay for two hours from the window of his apartment, shouting threats. He was taken away in an ambulance and was not charged with a crime.
