WASHINGTON - The bill to repeal "don't ask, don't tell" cleared a major Senate hurdle on Saturday and now heads toward a final, historic vote next week. By a 63-33 vote, the Senate agreed to a procedural move limiting debate on the bill. The vote is a sign that the legislation to overturn the ban on gay people serving openly in the military will easily pass the Senate and head to President Obama's desk for his signature.
