Patrick unveils new round of pension crackdowns

Gov. Deval Patrick announced a list of proposals to tackle a third round of pension reforms this year.   His plan includes increasing the minimum retirement age for most public employees from 55 to 60; nixing early retirement incentives; get rid of double-dipping by elected officials who try to collect a previous pension while in office; and putting in place an anti-spiking rule, among other proposals.
