Ten months ago, I wrote about the Disney World ”Goofy” challenge, a race that covers 13.1 miles on Saturday and another 26.2 miles on Sunday.  As I stood alongside these runners on Saturday January 8, the finish line 24 hours and an infinite distance away, I wondered.  Why do people do this?
