Watch Tuesday night's telethon for Plymouth's sister city in Japan

The Rotary Club of Plymouth, Plymouth Area Community Television and the town will hold a telethon from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday to aid Plymouth’s sister city, Shichigahama Japan. The city is in northeastern Japan, 60 miles from the epicenter of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.

UPDATE: Prosecutor says Stonehill student raped third-grader in classroom

A Stonehill College junior raped an 8-year-old student with his fingers while tutoring at the Angelo Elementary School, a prosecutor alleged during an arraignment Tuesday.
    The child, who is in third grade at the school, was taken to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital on Thursday by her parents, and was interviewed by a police officer there, Plymouth County prosecutor Tara Cappola said at Brockton District Court Tuesday.
