Three-ingredient recipes are one of our favorite trends right now. (Jeggings? Not so much.) Here are a few new trios that are sure to stay in style for quite a while! And, no, spices don't count toward the ingredient tally, so don't accuse us of faulty math...

BCCs (Beany Cheesy Cups)

PER SERVING (1/3rd of recipe, 5 pieces): 121 calories, 3.5g fat, 332mg sodium, 17g carbs, 2g fiber, 1g sugars, 6g protein -- PointsPlus™ value 3*

First there were BFFs... Now BCCs!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup fat-free refried beans
2 wedges The Laughing Cow Light Creamy Swiss cheese
One 15-piece box frozen Athens Mini Fillo Shells
Spices: ground cumin, chili powder

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Place shells on a baking sheet sprayed lightly with nonstick spray. Set aside.

In a small bowl, combine beans, cheese, 1/8 tsp. cumin, and 1/8 tsp. chili powder. Mix until completely smooth and blended.

Evenly distribute bean-cheese mixture among the shells. Bake in the oven until mixture is hot and shells are golden brown, about 15 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly, and then CHEW!

Chicken la Fea

PER SERVING (entire recipe): 219 calories, 6.5g fat, 560mg sodium, 0g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g sugars, 37g protein -- PointsPlus™ value 5*

Yes, fea means "ugly" in Spanish. We're facing facts here... This dish is DELICIOUS -- but pretty it ain't!

Ingredients:
One 5-ounce raw boneless skinless lean chicken breast cutlet
3 fresh basil leaves
2 slices center-cut bacon or turkey bacon
Spices: salt, black pepper

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Spray a baking pan with nonstick spray. Season chicken with a dash each of salt and pepper. Lay basil evenly on top of the chicken. Wrap bacon around the basil-topped chicken. If needed, secure with toothpicks.

Bake in the oven until chicken is fully cooked, about 20 minutes.

Set oven to broil, and broil until bacon is crispy, about 4 minutes.

Remove toothpicks, if using. Serve and enjoy!

MAKES 1 SERVING

Gooey-Good Banana-Cream Crepes

PER SERVING (1/2 of recipe, 2 banana-cream crepes): 126 calories, 2g fat, 155mg sodium, 26g carbs, 1.5g fiber, 10g sugars, 2g protein -- PointsPlus™ value 3*

You can't go wrong with pudding and bananas, people! Well, unless lima beans are involved...

Ingredients:
1 small (or half a large) very ripe banana
One 60-calorie sugar-free or no-sugar-added vanilla pudding snack (like the kind by Jell-O)
2 ready-to-use dessert crepes (like the kind by Melissa's or Frieda's)
Spices: cinnamon

Directions:
Place banana in a bowl and mash thoroughly with a fork. Add pudding and 1/8 tsp. cinnamon. Stir until blended.

Gently tear or cut each crepe in half, and lay the 4 halves flat. Into the center of each, spoon 1/4th of the banana-pudding mixture, about 2 tbsp. per crepe half.

One at a time, wrap the halves up envelope-style, folding the sides in first and then top and bottom. Pat gently to seal, and then place seam side down on a plate. Freeze for about 1 hour.

Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray (butter-flavored spray, if you've got it) to medium heat on the stove. Place 2 frozen crepes side by side in the skillet, seam sides up. Cook for 1 minute.

Very gently flip crepes and cook for 1 more minute, or until slightly browned on the outside and thawed on the inside. Repeat with remaining crepes and enjoy!

MAKES 2 SERVINGS

HG Tip: Look for dessert crepes in the produce aisle!
