Eyedropper type selection of colors by clicking on a multi-colored pallet. Cross-hair is dragged over the pallet background to sample the pixel color. A gradient is created using the selected color as a starting point which fades to white. The flash color variable is available to output to your other functions. I am making a liquid flash site with a video player which loads within the central movieclip. When the site loads everything sits in place perfectly, however if the browser is rescaled in anyway the external swf pushes up to the top of the screen and stays there permanently. I've found tons of reasonably priced apps for building screensavers on a pc and only two cross platform that are very expensive ($250 or above). I need to create a screensaver that folks can download for PC or MAC. Just some images, nothing fancy- I could build it in flash if that's easiest. Thanks a bunch! Display and access local directory
Greetings all, I am trying to display the contents of a local network (WIN) directory so instructors can locate their folder and access the content. Content consists of audio/video, graphics, and documents of various types. I would do it with PHP but the IT chief has forbidden it on the network location where the content resides. Hello, I need to make text drift back and forth to look cool. It's been such a long time since I have done this. I'm not even sure how to do it right anymore. I"m using Flash CS3 and tweens in keyframes. Should I use AS2 instead? I'm not up to AS3 yet. Thanks for your help. What's a good way to get fallback images?
I can get PNG sequences for basic flash files directly from Flash CS5. But if I have something a bit more complex (with movie clips) this doesn't work. I can export something complex to a .mov and get a png sequence from that, but there is a transparency problem. I want a good way of making quality fallback images in case flash player isn't installed? Any suggestions? Help playing commercial before before
