Read More Soldiers from Hingham's 1058th company make it home for Christmas As the soldiers of Hingham’s own 1058th Transportation Company piled off the buses on Friday afternoon, the true sense of Christmas spirit suddenly filled the air. Mothers screamed frantically for their sons, sons clapped loudly for their fathers, husbands and wives kissed, brothers and sisters embraced and loved ones of all kinds were reunited for the first time in nearly a year.
